Wandsworth Art: Framed - Artwork hanging from the lampposts!

Wandsworth Arts and Culture Strategy is Wandsworth Council’s commitment to a long-term creative vision for the Borough. They play a vital role in supporting, coordinating, convening and promoting Wandsworth Borough’s cultural life.
Wandsworth Council Art Service have been asking local artists to publicly exhibit copies of their artworks via a series of lamppost banners on high streets local to them, for a project entitled Framed. Keep an eye out on your local high street in Balham, Clapham Junction, Earlsfield, Furzedown, Tooting, Southfields, Wandsworth Town, Roehampton, and Putney, and you'll see artwork by over 130 local artists on windows or hanging from the lampposts! Framed: Tooting I have been invited to take part in Framed in Tooting where my studio is based. Wandsworth is home to a thriving creative community of artists, designers and makers. This exhibition of artworks by 16 Tooting-based artists, installed on lamppost banners on Tooting High Street and Upper Tooting Road, celebrates the vibrancy, optimism and resilience of Wandsworth as we return to our high streets after lockdown. Framed: Tooting artists The works showcase the space, breath and light that can be found across the borough in its green spaces and town centres. Long Studio Design is a luxury London-based homeware, lifestyle, accessories and interior online brand.
I bring my unique perspective and strengths, to deliver a promise of quality and excellence in my original products most of which are embellished with my original artwork.
LSD London (est. MMXX) was launched in the Year of Corona 2020.
I believe in the importance of beauty in our lives.
We are surrounded by beauty but do not systematically include it in our everyday lives and environments. Think how wonderful it is to be in nature, beside the sea, or in mountains and valleys. All problems seem smaller, while the air, water and sunshine revive and enliven us.
My aim is to show you how you can bring more beauty into your home and how you can appreciate and enjoy the skills and artistry of skilled artisans.
LSD London believes that fashion, furnishing and longevity should go hand in hand. I approach design with the idea that my designs are elegant and timeless.
LSD London cares about the environment, supports local industry and where possible works with organic and sustainable fabrics. My products and accessories are mainly made in the UK.
